Referral Program: Give 20% to new subscribers and Earn 20% lifetime commission
Give 20% off to the people you love and earn commission (for the lifetime of their subscription) when they subscribe to Plan to Eat.
Get Signed Up
The Referral Program is free to sign up for and all you need is a trial account. Visit the Referral Program page to sign up for the program and get more details. You will not be paid affiliate commissions until you sign up for the program.
Ways to Get Referrals
- a person clicks on your unique affiliate link and signs up for a trial.
- you send a friend request email and they sign up for a trial using the unique link in the welcome email.
- you share a link to one of your recipes and a person visits that recipe and then signs up for a trial.
Giving a Discount
The 20% discount is automatically applied when your referral signs up for a new trial account on our website, in a browser.
The 20% discount is only applicable on the first annual subscription payment, purchased on our website at app.plantoeat.com/upgrade.
The discount will not work for payments made in-app through Apple.
Access Your Referral Link
To access your referral link, on the website navigate My Account > Referral Program. You'll find promotional tools, such as your referral link, ways to share, and advertising buttons for your website.
How to Receive Payments
We pay our affiliates a 20% commission, which works out to about $1 for a $5.95 a month subscription and $9.80 for a $49 a year subscription.
We send referral payments by the 15th of each month for the previous month of referrals. For example, if 10 of your referrals sign up for a yearly subscription in one month, we will pay you $80 the following month.
Payments are sent via PayPal or Venmo. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can create an account when PayPal emails you your first payment. You will need to already have a Venmo account to input your username for referral payments.
If you do not accept your commission in PayPal within 30 days of it being sent, PayPal will automatically refund the money to Plan to Eat. Once a commission has been refunded, we cannot resend it to you.
