Tap the + on a date to add notes and ingredients to your meal plan. 

Plan Notes

  1. Tap the + on a date in the Planner
  2. Select Plan Note
  3. Type in your Note
  4. Tap Next 
  5. Select the mealtime to assign the Note
  6. Tap Add

Adding Notes to your meal planner can be a helpful way to indicate something special about a certain day. This can be things like “dinner at Mom's” or “eating out”. Notes will not affect your shopping list.

Plan Ingredients

  1. Tap the + on a date in the Planner
  2. Select Plan Ingredient
  3. Type in the Ingredient
  4. Tap Next 
  5. Select the mealtime to assign the Ingredient
  6. Tap Add

Ingredients that are added to your meal planner will appear on your shopping list as an item. This can be simple things that aren’t recipes and usually accompany a meal like “bananas” or “orange juice”.
