What if my subscription hasn’t expired yet?

• No problem! You can purchase a subscription at 50% off during the sale, and the new one will automatically start at the end of your current subscription. If you paid in-app previously, you’ll need to purchase on our website to extend. 

What if my account expires right before the sale?

• Good news! We are extending subscriptions and free trials that expire between November 15th and December 1st, so you can continue using your account through the holiday and take advantage of the sale.

Can I set up automatic renewal at the sale price?

• Yes! We now offer the option to automatically renew your subscription each year at the discounted sale price. You will see this option when you purchase a subscription through the website during the sale (auto-renewal isn’t available for in-app purchases). 

I purchased a subscription last year during the sale. Will my subscription automatically renew this year during the sale?

• If you selected the auto-renewal option, then yes! If not, you will need to manually renew this year and select the option to auto-renew at checkout. If you're unsure, head to your website account page to see if you have auto-renew enabled. 

If I start a trial during the sale, will I get the discount at the end of my trial period? 

• No, you must subscribe during the sale to get the discounted price. You will still get a trial period, and the subscription will start at the end of your trial, regardless of when you pay for it. The sale dates are November 28th – December 1st, and are the only days to get the 50% off price.

If I previously let my account lapse, do I need to create a new one?

• No, we don’t close accounts unless requested, so you can simply log into your old account and purchase a discounted subscription.

How can I share Plan to Eat with my family and friends?

• You can sign up for our Referral Program, share your unique link with others, and earn a 20% commission on their subscription.

• Or you can purchase gift subscriptions during the sale at 50% off and give them to your friends and family.

Can I purchase gift subscriptions during the sale, but give them later?

• Yes, you can! Purchase a gift subscription and select the option to send the welcome email to yourself instead of the recipient. When you want to send your friend their gift you can either (a) forward them the original welcome email you received, or (b) send them a new email with the redemption link found in the welcome email or on your account page below the Gift Subscriptions section.

What days can I get the sale price?

• The only days to get the sale price are November 28th – December 1st, 2025. You will not be able to purchase an annual subscription at 50% off after those dates.
