Menus are reusable collections of planned recipes, ingredients, and notes that can be added to your Planner. You can create menus that span one meal time, one day, a full week, or even an entire month. 

To access Menus in the app, tap on the "Menus" link in the upper right corner of the Plan tab.

Creating a New Menu:

  1. Tap “New Menu” to open a blank Menu.
  2. From here you can:
    • Rename the Menu
    • Add recipes, notes, and ingredients
      • Adjust recipe serving sizes
    • Delete the Menu
  3. Tap Done when you're finished. 

To plan a Menu:

  1. Tap on the saved Menu to preview its contents.
  2. Tap the Plan Menu button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the date you would like the Menu to start on the calendar.
  4. Tap Add to add the Menu to your planning calendar.


Editing Menus: 

  1. Under “My Menus”, tap on a saved Menu you’d like to edit.
  2. Tap the Edit button in the upper right.
  3. From here you can:
    1. Rename the Menu
    2. Edit/Add/Remove recipes
    3. Update recipe serving sizes
    4. Delete the Menu
  4. Tap Done when finished editing.

Deleting a Menu:

  1. Tap on the Menu under “My Menus” that you’d like to delete.
  2. Tap the Edit button in the upper right.
  3. Tap the “Delete Menu” link.

Viewing Friend’s Menus:

You can preview Menus from your Friends and the Cooking Challenges, before adding them to your planning calendar. Simply tap on any Menu to preview it. 

 Note, you will not be able to edit saved Menus from your Friends or the Cooking Challenges.
