Q: My subscription or free trial will end before the sale starts. Will I have to go without Plan to Eat during that time in order to take advantage of the sale?

A: No, you will not have any downtime to your subscription. We extend all trials and yearly subscriptions that were scheduled to expire before the first day of the sale, so you can take advantage of the sale without interruption to your account. 

Q: What happens if my account is on a recurring yearly subscription?

A: To receive the sale price, you must manually make a purchase during the dates of our sale. If your account is set up for recurring payments, you can disable the auto-pay from your website Account page.
Or contact us and we can help you disable that and you can purchase at the discounted rate during our sale.

Q: Can I set up my account to auto-renew during the sale?

A: No, we do not offer auto-renewal for our annual sale price. Since our sale dates change each year, setting your account to auto renew would not guarantee you the sale price. You must login and manually purchase a subscription to receive the discount!

Q: What happens to my free trial if I purchase an annual subscription before it's over?

A: Subscriptions start the day you sign up for them, not at the end of your trial. But we have a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy, so if you are unhappy with your purchase, let us know and we'll get you a refund. 
To start an account, you need to sign up for a free trial, but you will then need to purchase a subscription during the sale dates to get the discounted price.

Q: I already have a subscription. Can I take advantage of the sale?

A: Yes! From your account page you will be able to extend your current subscription, adding one year to the end of your current subscription.

If you are in a automatic monthly subscription, please contact our support team and we’ll help you end the recurring monthly payments so that you can purchase a yearly subscription during our sale. You can also do this by going to your Account page and disabling your recurring payments.

Q: Can I purchase gift subscriptions during the sale, but give them later?

A: Yes. Purchase a gift subscription and select the option to send the welcome email to yourself instead of the recipient.

When you want to send your friend their gift you can either (a) forward them the original welcome email you received, or (b) send them a new email with the redemption link found in the welcome email or on your account page below the Gift Subscriptions section.

Q: Can I renew an existing gift subscription I previously purchased?

A: You sure can! Purchase a new gift subscription and your friend can apply it to their existing yearly subscription.

Q: If I sign up for a free trial during the sale, can I receive the sale price at the end of my trial period?

A: No. The sale price is only valid during the 4 days of the sale!

Q: If I share on social media about your sale, can I earn a discount on my subscription price?

A: You cannot get a discount on your subscription, but we do have a Referral program that will allow you to earn commission from sharing our program.
